Death & Disconnection.
I saw someone die the other day.
As I pulled up to the robot, which was amber, some guy came flying past in a green Nissan Almera and the first thought that came to mind was who in their right mind buys an Almera. Wanker.
Normally I would have skipped the robot. I stopped.
In the afternoon gloom, I saw two cars lying literally in the middle of the road. A bakkie and the above mentioned Almera smoking and crumpled. The accident had just happened and I remember looking at the bodies of the two guys from the bakkie and at the angle they were lying nevertheless I checked anyway while calling for ambulance.
No one survived.
It got me thinking. A few seconds and three people had died. It could have been me. I make plans, have ambitions and worry continuously but the truth is life is fragile. In a moment it can be over. Maybe what really is important is right before us and it is important because in a few seconds it can be taken away. Appreciate.
Recently I've had this feeling of disconnection and it's freaking me out due to it's persistence.
It feels like I'm in a room far away and looking out the window is the view through my eyes. As if I'm not really here and merely a spectator as I try to rebuild, this juggling act isn't working, everything seems to be falling to pieces but then again, is perception reality?

Ai Tinny
sometimes we disconnect to survive. But don't disappear, ok?
Jeez TiN
What an experience! But I get that you're in that place where nothing seems to touch you. Probably just as well. But, it will pass and you will feel again and you will sometimes wish that you didn't again. Life is a quaint little journey, ain't it?!
