I'm all excited.

The Oracle and The Guide arrive this morning.

They're spending a couple of days with me on their way back from the annual three month sojurn to far flung places.

I've spent the last two days gathering all the things they like; creamy brie, olives, smoked mussels and dark chocolate. The house has been spuced, the doglets admonished to be on their best behaviour. And now finally, the day is here. I have some meetings I can't rearrange today and tomorrow, but from midday tomorrow I'm out of here. I'll be doing family time for the rest of the week.

*barely controlled excitable bouncing*

This year they were away over my birthday and Father's Day and The Oracle's birthday is next week, so there is some celebrating to do. Be warned - I learnt to pour cocktails at my father's knee.

I hope they have photographs of the Chelsea Flower Show. I never been to that. And I can't wait to here about their stay at The Eden Project. That sounds fascinating.

Aaah. Retirement. A house on the beach and time to explore the world.

Clare

Enjoy. From the sounds of it, they don't live near you, so this is a chance to do some serious catching up.

Nope TL

They've retired to a house on the beach in the Eastern Cape. I started session one of the photo's last night.

Clare

My parents are visiting this weekend as well. I know exactly how you feel.

Enjoy it Clare.

Hey Sems,

It's cool hey? I've left them at home this morning to rest up, but my mother had decided my garden needs a make over.

Sounds awesome Clare

Spoil them and let them spoil you. Sure you will have a ball.

Hey Flutts!

The new gumboots have arrived. They are the coolest things ever. Bright red roses everywhere and a big red buckle on the side.

aai, Clare

i just love these mythical names you give people. And they're gonna get spoilt rotten too, by the sound of it.

Dex

They've had enough spoiling. Time to put them to work. Just kidding, tonight is birthday/father's day. I'm on dinner duty.
