On Monday night I watched an American sitcom where the son gets himself into trouble by drawing a classmate in a less than flattering way. The father is called to the school and gets himself into a very similar predicament with the well endowed child’s well endowed mother. At the time I dismissed it as silly American show, until something similar happened to me.

This morning I opened my inbox and found what can only be described as a pornographic image of a girl with several penises shoved in her mouth and the tag line ”Sometimes you just know she’s special” or something to that effect. What makes it even more surprising is that it was sent to me by another woman, a colleague. My friends know better than to send me offensive crap like that.

Then she has the audacity to walk up to my desk and ask me if I received it.

”I deleted it. And I’d prefer if you didn’t send me stuff like that.”

But she blathers on blindly.

”I sent it to everyone in the office because I thought it looked like you. You know. From the side a bit, just with blond hair.”

I’m sorry? Did I hear you right? Yesterday while I was out of the office on a course you sent a pornographic picture around the office and then discussed with the guys in the office how the woman in it resembled me. Are you shitting me?

Blogland, I am speechless. What the hell? I’m going to have to take this further but first I need to control my temper long enough to form coherent thought. My sexual harassment claim is going to look pretty flimsy if the whole office sees me rip her tongue from her head and attach it to her desk with the industrial stapler.
