Nature?
Black storm clouds scatter
and disperse with the four winds
as the sun comes out.
A watery glow
infuses the verdant fields
with colour and light.
Shoots pop their heads up
to greet the newly born day;
washed clean by the rain.
Flying ants circle
and mate before the sun sets.
Some do not return.
Water laden streams
carry sustenance abroad;
feeding the hungry.
Humans sit indoors
grumbling about the weather
and wishing for spring.

We're so removed from it now Tarnished
And we really only have stories about once, feeling a part of it...then there are those occasional moments...
Nicely done chicka....makes you ponder, this.
Classy, Lily.
Classy, indeed.
Ramon
Thanks. You were right about the crossword comparison!
Lills
ja we sure are an unthankful bunch, hey. Sheesh - writing one haiku exhausts me - I dunno how you and Thumper do this so beautifully. Respect.
I fink i laff you.
Dex
I fink you is laff, sweetheart. As Ramon explained a few days ago, its a matter of flexing one's word muscles. Very satisfying as an intellectual exercise. But, I'm just a fluffy bunny in comparison to Thumper! Much more practice required.
No way Lils
it's good stuff.
And Thumper's had a few more years to practise!
Ah Dolce
You really are too kind!
