What you wrote is not a Haiku...

5-7-5 is a very common form of haiku but this is not cast in stone.
Another definition of a haiku is that it contains 17 or less syllables which don't have to be arranged in any particular way (though they are usually in three lines...)

I was led here through a Twitter post, posted by someone with the Twittername Frankly Wrankles. I registered because it appears to be a space where I can drift through and post random thoughts, ideas, commentary, et cetera. Do I have that right? I don't want to disrupt anything here, so -- besides the above-posted haiku -- I'll watch awhile, see what the vibe is, 'fore I jump in.
