Weeding

At this time of year the garden is my drug of choice and weeding is my guilty pleasure. Why is weeding even more gratifying tham planting, feeding , watering, digging,pruning? I think it's because of all the future nutirtion thaose weeds would have stolen from the plants you are looking after. I also find myself apologising - out loud - to plants I sometimes damage or dig up accidetntally druing the weeding process . Just wish my creatiuve process was so dilgent. I too have a good recipe for cracks...which I choose not to share.
