So we share good, bad, ugly, scary, personal, not-so-personal and sad news, right? Today, I have some news to share.

I PASSED my CIA professional designation exams. I am SO excited and so relieved that it is over now.

Now I can officially pretend that I actually know what it is I am doing.

Just thought I should share my joy here!

I can tell you its not anything about working with the Central Intelligence Agency (irony so thick).

Its the Certified Internal Auditor exams. Hmmmm.... well, I have external audit experience (articles without actually writing Board) and internal audit experience so yeah, maybe I do know about your finances *smile*

But I think it would be more fun if you gave me an INTERNAL audit and I gave you an EXTERNAL audit.... maybe even an oral examination would be appropriate with this type of audit.

After an external audit, an internal audit is the logical next step. Missing out on the external audit causes too much friction I've found.
